[YG-LIFE] 170624 BLACKPINK Releases Dance Practice Video Before the First TV Performance of “As If It’s Your Last”

At 10 AM on June 24, BLACKPINK’s dance practice video of “As If It’s Your Last” was posted on YG Entertainment’s official blog ( and attracted the interest of the fans.

BLACKPINK was to appear on MBC’s Show! Music Core later in the day, and it is rare to release a group’s dance practice video even before its first TV performance.

The music video features BLACKPINK members dancing to the song in a practice room without any editing, flashy lights and stage settings, enabling the fans to see the details of BLACKPINK’s choreography.

The dance shows BLACKPINK’s girly side and is filled with cute dance moves such as making finger hearts, blowing kisses, and playing jegichagi, a Korean traditional game.

It’s been only two days since BLACKPINK released a new single, and the song is going viral. BLACKPINK surpassed 10 million YouTube views in the shortest time among K-pop idol groups. Currently, the “As If It’s Your Last” music video is posting 18 million views, about to hit the 20 million mark. BLACKPINK is also the first K-pop idol group to become No.1 on the iTunes charts of 18 countries.

BLACKPINK is still a young rookie and not a year has passed since its debut. However, the group already has three music videos that surpassed 10 billion views, music videos of “WHISTLE”, “BOOMBAYAH”, and “PLAYING WITH FIRE”. The “As If It’s Your Last” music video is going viral at the fastest speed and breaking records.

BLACKPINK is to go on MBC’s Show! Music Core at 3:50 today.

Upon debut, BLACKPINK has received spotlight thanks to its strong charisma and exceptional stage manners. Expectations are running high for the comeback stage of this “monster rookie.”

After today’s appearance on MBC’s Music Core, BLACKPINK will continue on its two-month promotion for its new song by going on variety and radio shows.
