BLACKPINK is continuing to kill the YouTube game!
January 4, at approximately 10 a.m. KST, BLACKPINK’s “Whistle” became the group’s fifth music video to hit 300 million views on YouTube.
“Whistle” hits the milestone just under 2 years and 5 months since its release on August 8, 2016. The song follows “Playing With Fire,” which was BLACKPINK’s fourth MV to hit the milestone after “BOOMBAYAH,” “As If It’s Your Last,” and “DDU-DU DDU-DU.” Among these, “DDU-DU DDU-DU” holds the record as the fastest K-pop group MV to hit 300 million views, doing so in an astonishingly short 69 days.
