The lyrics of the song question why people still look for new love despite their wounds and pain. The fact that members JISOO and JENNIE participated in the composing and writing of the song each for the first time raises the fans’ anticipation.

Apart from ‘Lovesick Girls’, the album contains BLACKPINK’s unique characters and sounds, from the charismatic Hip-hop sounds of ‘How You Like That’ which proved the group’s global influence, to the exciting and poppy melodies of ‘Ice Cream’ which also features a Popstar, Selena Gomez.
